Maria Vargas is a PhD Lecturer of Finance at the University of Zaragoza (UZ). She has taught courses in financial economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration since 2005. Her PhD dissertation on Spanish Mutual funds was defended in 2006.
She has been a Visiting Researcher in the University of Deusto (Spain) and in the University of Minho (Portugal).
She has published in several scientific journals as well as two book chapters for the North American Springer Editorial. She has supervised four PhD dissertations, one of them with a European mention and another with an international mention.
