Mercedes Alda is a PhD Assistant Lecturer of Finance in the Accounting and Finance Department of the University of Zaragoza (UZ). She has taught courses in financial economics and accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. Her PhD dissertation (2012) was entitled: “Pension Plans and Pension Funds in Europe: Comparative Performance Analysis in Spain and the United Kingdom”. She has been a visiting researcher at the Dublin City University (2010).
